Cancellation Policy

Plans change, gardens get re-measured, and sometimes the other half says no. Cancelling a Larkstead order is straightforward; what happens depends on how far the order has travelled.

The Short Version

You can cancel free of charge any time before dispatch, and you have 30 days from delivery to return under our returns policy, which comfortably exceeds the 14-day statutory cancellation period in the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

Before Dispatch

  • Email contact@larkstead.com with your order number and we cancel it, no fee, no questions.
  • Orders are processed within 24 hours, seven days a week, so speed matters; message us the moment you decide.
  • Your refund is released immediately on cancellation and typically appears within 3–5 working days depending on your bank.

Already on the Road

  • Dispatched orders cannot be recalled mid-journey.
  • You can refuse the delivery when it arrives (it comes back to us at no cost to you), or accept it and use the normal 30-day return.
  • Refunds for returned or refused orders are issued within 14 days of the goods arriving back.

After Delivery

Once the order has arrived, a cancellation simply becomes a return under the 30-day window. The full mechanics are in our Return & Refund Policy.

How the Money Comes Back

  • Always to the original payment method.
  • Pre-dispatch cancellations: refunded on confirmation.
  • Post-dispatch: refunded within 14 days of the goods reaching us.
  • Allow your bank a further 5–10 working days to display it.

When We Cancel

Rarely, we may have to cancel an order ourselves: a stock error, an obvious pricing mistake, or suspected fraud. If that happens you are told by email straight away and refunded in full immediately.
